New Embassy for Doha

You will be delighted to read in the attached link that the Australian Government announced in its May Budget that we will be opening an Embassy in Doha, Qatar.
Australia enjoys friendly and fast-developing bilateral relations with Qatar.
The Australian Government values and welcomes the investment, trade and people-to-people links between the two countries.
The opening of an Australian Embassy in Doha will also service our growing consular demands and better service the growing Australian community in Qatar.
We would like to establish the new Embassy quickly; however, at this early stage it’s difficult to give you a specific time on when the Embassy will be open. The Embassy in Abu Dhabi (who currently has accreditation for Qatar) is working closely with the Qatari Government to ensure a speedy process.

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection does not use a nomination/ballot system to select potential persons interested in migration to Australia. This is not a genuine message and it has not been issued by the Australian Government.
